Nepal Government on 23 September has finally announced to reopen issuing on-arrival visas for international tourists. As per Taranath Adhikari, joint secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, “Foreigners who have completed all the doses of Covid-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to entering Nepal will now receive an on-arrival visa.”

The tourists still have to show the negative PCR result within 72 hours and before flying to Nepal. Likewise, the travelers need to test the antigen at the immigration entry point of Nepal. If they tested positive they have to stay in an isolation center or hospital suggested by the Health Ministry of Nepal.

Go to www.ccmc.gov.np to fill in the required details prior to entering Nepal.
